The purpose of Wowzza! is to connect with other like-minded people. That's what social networking is about. If you don't understand that, then you don't really understand social networking. $33/month is not a big monetary loss (and you cancel any time). It just makes the crowd more serious.
Wowzza an MLM opportunity? Yes, it has a forced 3x9 matrix. You don't HAVE to use it that way! Wowzza is to promote myself, network with others, and learn some additional tips for my buisiness... If you get a few sign-ups, great! Maybe you can make enough to pay off your membership every month. It shouldn't be the reason to sign up.
